This page was created for Food Court employees as a reliable information resource, as well as a method of applying for promotion. In the past, all information about the daily operation of Food Court was kept in a binder, ideally located by the schedule table next to the salad backup cooler in Food Court. This book however soon became quite disorganized, and was eventually lost. The following links outline procedures for the operation of all aspects of Food Court, and are updated on a regular basis.
Below are job descriptions for each of the student positions
available at Thayer Hall. Attached to each is the application for
promotion. Promotions for supervisors are usually done in the spring,
while promotions for all other positions are usually done in the
winter term.
